Dr. Jennifer Rubinstein

Dr. Jennifer Rubinstein graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a degree in Marketing and Finance. Following jobs with the Gap and Rollerblade, she finished her rerequisites for veterinaryschool and then entered the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine. While attending school, she largely focused on equine medicine, spending a summer living at an equine hospital, leading the Equine Club and directing the on-call Foal Team. During her four years of veterinary school, Jennifer worked at the University Diagnostic Laboratory. In her last year she started to enjoy small animal medicine, especially emergency and critical care. After graduation she completed an internship at the Animal Emergency Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She then moved to Seattle where she has worked exclusively in emergency and critical care. Jennifer lives with her husband, three children and two dogs. While she enjoys all aspects of her job, she has an affinity for geriatric herding dogs.
