Dr. Adonia Hsu, Dipl. ACVIM (Cardiology)

Dr.  Adonia Hsu attended Barnard College at Columbia University in New York City for her undergraduate studies.  She then went to the University of Pennsylvania for veterinary school and received her veterinary degree in 2003.  She returned to the New York City area to practice general veterinary medicine in Park Slope, Brooklyn, NY.  After deciding that cardiology was a specialty she wanted to pursue, Dr. Hsu completed a one year small animal internship at Advanced Veterinary Care Center in Lawndale, CA followed by a residency in cardiology at the University of California, Davis. Dr. Hsu has a special interest in interventional cardiology, including transvascular PDA occlusion, balloon valvuloplasty for pulmonic stenosis, and transvenous pacemaker placement. She not only has an interest in cardiology for dogs and cats, but also other species of animals from hamsters to horses. Dr. Hsu has lived in several states throughout the United States including New York, South Dakota, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, California and now Western Washington.
