Dr. Alice Huang is originally from the New York/New Jersey area. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan in 2001 and earned her veterinary degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 2005. She went on to complete a rotating small animal internship and a small animal internal medicine specialty internship at private practices. Afterwards, she moved to Indiana for a residency in small animal internal medicine at Purdue University from 2007-2010 and has been board certified by the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine since 2011. After her residency, Dr. Huang remained at Purdue University as a Visiting Assistant Professor, teaching veterinary students and performing clinical research for 3 years. Much of her clinical investigation has been focused on hematology, particularly platelet disorders, but she also has interest in minimally invasive procedures such as tracheal and urethral stenting. Dr. Huang enjoys cooking, the outdoors, and spending time with her husband, pets, family, and friends.
