Dr. Perry, originally from Portland, Oregon, received his Bachelor's degree in biochemistry and cellular biology at the University of Washington in Seattle. He then went on to complete his veterinary medical degree and PhD in cellular immunology at Colorado State University. After working in private practice for a year, he returned to the clinics at CSU for his residency in medical oncology followed by a surgical residency at Aspen Meadow Veterinary Specialists. Dr. Perry's clinical and research interests include comparative cancer biology, immunology, targeted chemotherapeutics, and surgical oncology.
Dr. Perry is a diplomate of the American College of Internal Medicine (ACVIM) and the American college of Veterinary Surgeons (ACVS). He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Veterinary Orthopedic Society, Veterinary Cancer Society, Veterinary Society of Surgical Oncology and the American Association of Immunologists. In his free time, Dr. Perry enjoys biking, kayaking, and back country skiing with his Tolling Retriever and Border Collie.
