Ken Linde (Kirkland)
Ken loves his role as a surgery resident. He graduated magna cum laude from the University of Saskatchewan Western College of Veterinary Medicine in 1993 and spent 23 years in private practice in Langley, BC before embarking on specialization in surgery. He completed a surgical internship at SVS in 2017 and is currently engaged as a surgery resident at SVS. During his time in private practice he experienced a wide variety of species and learned to adapt to any circumstance. He is a member of the Veterinary Orthopedic Society, American Veterinary Medical Association, and College of Veterinarians of BC.
When the wind is blowing hard, Ken loves the thrill of kiteboarding or windsurfing whitecapped waters, where adrenaline flows freely. These days, however, he is more likely to be immersed in a journal, but that is okay. Being able to help our four legged companions, of any stripe, has been a lifelong commitment that now includes the surgery residency, and the pursuit of excellence in surgery.
