Kendra Rushing-Kuntz (Kirkland and Downtown Seattle)

Dr. Kendra Rushing obtained a Bachelor's in English Literature at Western Washington University before graduating from Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2016. While at WSU Dr. Rushing taught in the Surgery Skills Lab and founded the first ever Student Chapter of the American Association of Rehabilitation Veterinarians. After receiving her DVM, Dr. Rushing completed a rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Alameda East Veterinary Hospital in Denver, Colorado. She joins Seattle Veterinary Specialists as a surgical intern. Dr. Rushing's clinical interests include oncologic surgery and physical rehabilitation.
Dr. Rushing is dog-mom to two Newfoundlands, named Grace and Bernadette. In her spare time Dr. Rushing is an avid reader, walker, and traveler. She most recently traveled to Nicaragua with other volunteers, providing surgical and medical care to animals in need.
