Lost & Found
Stray animals are often brought to us, often after they have been injured. We stabilize these patients, providing immediate treatment and pain relief, and then work with our local animal control agencies and shelters to give them a chance to be reunited with their families or to have the opportunity to find a new home. While these patients are in our care, usually for no more than 3 days, we take their pictures and post them here on our website. If you have found a stray animal please send us the information and a photograph and we will post the information here as well. Families looking for a lost pet are encouraged to check daily with the local shelters and animal control facilities.
We will also help injured wildlife, stabilizing them for transfer to SARVEY or PAWS Wildlife. Please know that young wildlife are often mistaken as being abandoned when the mother has simply gone off for food. Picking up the animal and bringing it in may be the worst possible thing you can do. If you find a bird or other wild animal, please leave it where you found it and call SARVEY (360.435.4817) or PAWS Wildlife (425.787.2500 x817) for additional help.
