New at SVS

We would like to invite you to join with us in wishing Adonia Hsu DMV, DACVIM (Cardiology) all the best as she moves on to sunnier weather in San Diego, California, where she will be relocating to this month. In her stead, we are extending a warm welcome to Bryan Bottorf DVM, DACVIM (Cardiology) as our new full time cardiologist, who will be offering all of our previously available diagnostic and interventional procedures.

Dr. Bottorf graduated from Purdue University. Following an internship at Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine, he completed his residency at Oregon State University. Dr. Bottorf’s professional interests include minimally invasive cardiac procedures and advanced imaging of cardiac and pericardial disorders. He will begin offering diagnostic, therapeutic, and interventional cardiology services at Seattle Veterinary Specialists on August 15.

Please feel free to contact SVS for more information during this transition. Should you have patients that require a cardiologist in the meantime, SVS will gladly provide a referral.

The Radiology Department at Seattle Veterinary Specialists is pleased to offer outpatient ultrasound services. We understand that the ability to have a diagnostic ultrasound performed for stable patients can add service and value to your practice. Our team approach to the management of cases allows specialists in the areas of surgery, internal medicine, critical care, cardiology, and neurology to be consulted regarding specific ultrasound findings. Depending on your preference, the ultrasound findings will be sent directly to you by fax or discussed over the phone. If requested, further recommendations based on the findings can be made by our specialists.
