Radiology
The radiology department is staffed by Ryan Schultz, DVM, Diplomate ACVR and Christine Yee, DVM (practice limited to Radiology) and it plays a vital and supportive role in the day to day operations of Seattle Veterinary Specialists. In general terms, the radiology department aids in diagnosing the underlying etiologies for presenting clinical signs utilizing modalities associated with diagnostic imaging. Using state of the art digital radiography and fluoroscopy, we are able to provide diagnostic radiographs as well as numerous special procedures including intravenous urography and cystourethrography. We offer diagnostic ultrasound with ultrasound guided fine need aspiration and ultrasound guided biopsies. A Computed Tomographic is available to provide cross sectional imaging of the body including the skull and thorax. Magnetic Resonance Imaging of neurologic disorders is provided through the neurology service. In addition, we will be able to offer Magnetic Resonance Imaging of the remainder of the body including the abdomen and musculoskeletal structures.
